Police report against RM80 million allegation

KUDAT - Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) Tanjung Kapor Youth led by Chong Vui Fong, has lodged a police report at the Kudat District Police Station to urge the police to investigate the shocking allegation that SAPP president was bought off by Barisan Nasional (BN) with RM80 million to help BN win in the 13th General Election.

The rumour mongering spread widely in Sabah especially in the urban areas has discredited SAPP president Datuk Yong Teck Lee and the party and was made the main topic among the general public of whom many believed it to be true.

This malicious and vicious lie spread by irresponsible rival politicians is one of the main factors affecting SAPP's credibility and contributed to its dismal performance in the recent polls.

It was also learnt from sources that DAP's Dr Hiew King Cheu, running as candidate for Luyang at the time was one of the main culprits involved by using whispering campaign in Kota Kinabalu, which later was spread to other areas through his agents.
